Not usually. For most people with this condition, the best underwriting risk classifications for which you would otherwise qualify should be available.

Like many things which, on their own do not have a mortality impact, the condition could be associated with other conditions which may have an impact on the underwriting process.

I contacted an underwriter for a large, popular life insurance company to get the answer to this question. If all other health is excellent, the celiac disease is not causing symptom and is stable with adherence to diet, it is possible to get the best rating in life insurance while having celiac disease.

No, just having celiac disease will not affect life insurance rates, especially if it is being controlled by diet. If the celiac disease has progressed to causing other problems that are not being corrected by diet, those could cause an increase in life insurance premium. These include anemia, osteoporosis, or neuropathy.
