    It really depends heavily on the homeowner carrier chosen and the type of pool, whether in-ground or above-ground.   In Florida, the premium will also be affected by the presence of a screened-in pool. While the screened-in situation helps with the accidental fall peril factors on the liability side, the screen has a negative effect in terms of its vulnerability to wind damage on the property side.    
    Security devices in and around the pool and access doors can have an affect on the pricing.  
    Bottom line is that carriers view and rate pools differently.  You really need to get some rate comparisons.
