What Are The Types Of Car Insurance Coverage?
- 16470 POINTSview profileDavid OsgoodAgent, Rural Mutual Insurance Co., Union Grove, WIThe primary components of auto insurance are Liability, Comprehensive, Collision, Property Damage, Medical Payments, Underinsured Motorist, and Uninsured Motorist. For minimum coverages I typically recommend that a client carry liability, property damage, medical payments, underinsured motorist, and uninsured motorist at levels of no less 100/300. Each state has its own requirements for the coverages that a licensed driver is to carry so please check with your local DMV or a local agent to find out the minimum coverages that are required for your geographic location.Answered on August 5, 2013flag this answer
