Does Renters Insurance Cover Fire?

    Fire is the most basic protection offered by a Tenants policy.  Most policies today are written on an “all-risk” form and include fire.  In the case of a tenants policy the coverage extends to your personal property and property under your care.  There are property losses even from fire which are excluded or limited by the policy so be sure you read those provisions as well.  For example the company might not replace your pet goldfish, or your business computer.
