    Yes. If conducted during a hospital visit, it would be covered by Part A. For most instances, it's part of an outpatient item at a general doctor's office and be covered under Part B. Medicare Part B covers a wide range of diagnostic tests.  Your doctor must determined if the test is medically necessary to help diagnose a medical problem.  Part B will pay for 80% of the expenses - you're responsible for paying the other 20%.  A Medicare supplement plan would cover that 20% of expenses.
