How Long Does It Take To Sign Up For Medicare?
- 11498 POINTSview profileJason GoldenzweigCo-Founder, TermInsuranceBrokers.com, Goldenzweig Financial Group, Las Vegas, NevadaThe application process for individuals applying under their initial open enrollment period can be completed on the social security website, ssa.gov. If you're applying under a special enrollment period, I would recommend completing the paperwork at your local social security administration office. It can generally take about 3-4 weeks for the paperwork to be processed and for you to receive your Medicare card (sometimes longer depending on their volume and time of the year).Answered on March 25, 2014flag this answer
