How Long Can I Keep Medicare?
- 12689 POINTSview profileTed RatliffOwner, SFS Associates,If you are over 65 you keep Medicare until you die unless you move out of the country and give up citizenship. If you are on Social Security Disability then you keep Medicare as long as you qualify for disability. You do not lose your Medicare. Some people confuse Medicare and Medicaid. They are two different government services. Medicaid is based on income and assets and you have to qualify each month.Answered on May 4, 2013flag this answer

For example the earnings of the family bread winners are necessary to pay a 30 year home mortgage, so 30 years of coverage may be necessary as well. Buy term life insurance if the economic liability is temporary. Buy permanent life insurance if the economic liability is perpetual.Answered on May 4, 2013+01 0+1 this answerflag this answerview more answers by David Racich
