How do you define Cheap Life Insurance?
I ask because there can be a lot of value depending on what your need is, if you need a term of coverage or lifetime coverage. And then the variables such as getting all your money back at the end of the term, or building cash value to supplement your retirement, etc.
If you are looking for the least expensive term insurance for your needs, I would recommend contacting a Broker who works with multiple companies. Just be sure to get a guaranteed term otherwise your rates may go up before the term is complete.
If you would like some term or other quotes, please contact me or your local Broker. We will need your date of birth, if you smoke of not, ht/wt and if you take any medications. This will give us a snapshot of a real quote for you.
Regardless of whether or not a life insurance agency advertises cheap life insurance, the reality is that all life insurance companies must charge you the same price, no matter where you purchased the policy from.
However, there are some factors that enter into whether you will find a cheaper policy at one agency over another. Some of these agencies' methods are positive, and some are negative. Here are some examples of both.
Positive
1) The insurance agency takes all your health details and shops among multiple carriers to find the one that will issue your policy at the cheapest price.
2) The insurance agency will sell you a policy that suits your need, not pressuring you to buy a more expensive policy just because it makes them more money.
3) The insurance agent will go to bat for you if you are rated unfairly, and strive to help you resolve that, or find you another policy, if possible.
Negative
1) The insurance agency offers you a short term policy, or accidental death policy, just to make the sale. They do this whether or not that type of policy best suits your need.
2) The insurance agency neglects to ask pertinent health details and then offers you a cheap policy. Or else they ask health details but still claim to be able to get you impossibly low rates, often out of ignorance.
Ironically, to get the cheapest life insurance, you need a life insurance agent who is "valuable". Go to someone you trust to listen to you, who will shop your case among multiple carriers to find your best price, and who will not sell you something worthless just to save off a few dollars and make the sale. That way you will have a policy of value at the most affordable price.
