Will Homeowners Insurance Cover Water Heater?
- 37376 POINTSview profileDavid G. Pipes, CLU®, RICP®Business Development Officer, T.D. McNeil Insurance Services, Fresno, CaliforniaThe homeowner’s policy will provide coverage for damage caused by a ruptured hot water heater. It will not replace the hot water heater, itself. It is very important to get assistance urgently as water damage never improves, it only gets worse. It is particularly critical if carpets or wood floors are involved.Answered on July 9, 2014flag this answer
