What Does Homeowners Insurance Cover In Nevada?
- 90 POINTSview profileKevin BoyleOwner, Kevin Boyle Farmers Insurance, NevadaThere are a few different types of homeowners insurance policys out there and each insurance company in Nevada offer different coverages and limits in these policys. The most common homeowners policy used is called a HO4 policy which pretty much all major insurance companies are using. This type of policy means that any peril will be covered unless it is excluded on the policy. These exclusions are pretty standard in Nevada which some examples would be earthquake, war, riot and nuclear warfare. This policy provides coverage for spearate structures, personal property, building codes, Loss of Use, medical and personal liability. The limits for these coverages are a percentage based off the amount that is determined to rebuild the home. If you would like to know more about what a homeowners policy covers please contact me and I will be happy to explain any of these in more detail.Answered on September 25, 2013flag this answer
