One good example is damage caused by a lightening strike. Another example can be experienced in the type of winter we had here or as a result of severe tropical storms suffered by many in the past couple of years. If weather of that kind knocks out power for an extended period of time, once restored, if there is surge damage, check with your Insurance Professional to see about coverage.Answered on April 28, 2014flag this answer
