    There are a lot of factors that impact auto rates such as Model, Price, Foreign or Domestic, age of driver, driving history and credit score. Also depends on your zip code and what state you are in could make difference. Just check with and independent agent in which ever state you live in to get the best rate and service.

    I assume you are talking about rate increases.  Claims and expenses are the most likely culprits if your auto rate has been increased.  There are subtle changes that also can affect your rate such as a shift in boundaries for your rating area, but these are the basic issues that drive rate increases.
