Typically speaking yes.  Home owners insurance carriers are going to want to see that the trampoline is secure, meaning in a fenced yard with a locked gate, .  That is saying also that IF the carrier will even accept the risk of the trampoline.

You should contact your independent insurance agent before purchasing a trampoline and ask them what their carrier would say about a trampoline.

Good question. Many insurance companies will ask if you have a trampoline on the premises. If you do, it will likely make you ineligible for 50% of the homeowners insurance companies in NY. If you have homeowners insurance already and you didn't have a trampoline (at the time of application) you can purchase a trampoline and coverage would be afforded under most policies. They key is to avoid making a material misrepresentation on the application. Of course, always check with your local independent agent.
