    One of the main provisions of the Affordable Health Care Act that went into effect January 1 of this year, is that one can no longer be refused coverage for a pre existing condition.  Coverage information and premium rates are available from many insurance providers that are compliant with the new law and can be found either through the Federal Government's web site or various state Health Exchanges.
