Can You Get Disability Insurance If You Are Unemployed?
- 63333 POINTSview profilePeggy MaceMost of the U.S.You cannot purchase disability insurance while unemployed. Disability insurance is sold to replace part of your income if you were to become disabled. If there is no income, there is nothing to base the policy benefits on. There must be income coming in order to qualify for disability insurance.Answered on July 24, 2013flag this answer
