I smashed into a concrete pillar on a private residence, there is no police report. The owner of the property is not going to pursue charges against me and im not being held responsible for the damages, But my vehicle was badly damaged and I have to submit a claim. Will I be able to do this without a police report since it was private property?
Do I Need A Police Report To Submit A Claim For A Car Accident On Private Property?

Therefore, if it is possible, it becomes more important to exchange information with the other party involved. I would also recommend that neither car be moved and that you take photos for your records and that of your Insurance Company to help in the processing of the claim.Answered on January 2, 2014flag this answer
