Yes they do, in most States. It covers your possessions when renting a residence.  In addition to Progressive, many companies sell this important product.  However, they may not offer it in all States.
It is an important coverage. One of my adult Sons found out first hand when a grease fire set his rented apartment ablaze when he was in college, damaging most of his possessions and causing smoke damage to other units within the complex (liability issue). Fortunately and surprising to me...as his Father...he had purchased a renters policy!

It also protects the policyholder with liability coverage for accidents that might harm someone on the rented premises, as a result of possible/alleged policyholder negligence. Like homeowner insurance, renters insurance protects the policyholder's property from damage caused by several common perils, including fire, theft, water damage and other circumstances that a landlord policy might not cover.
