Can I Drive An Insured Car Without Insurance?
- 37376 POINTSview profileDavid G. Pipes, CLU®, RICP®Business Development Officer, T.D. McNeil Insurance Services, Fresno, CaliforniaMany people drive cars without insurance. It is illegal in most states. It is foolish. An uninsured accident could result in the driver losing everything that they own, and face legal action. The fact that many people drive uninsured cars is the reason that you need uninsured and underinsured auto coverage as a part of your auto policy.Answered on March 7, 2014flag this answer

What you need to understand is that it isn't the vehicle being insured that matters, it is the driver. The car itself will not hurt or kill someone, it is the person driving the car that causes the car to hurt or kill. Please do not consider trying to shortcut not having insurance. the penalties will far outweigh whatever it would cost you to have it. Thanks for asking!Answered on May 6, 2014flag this answer
