Some companies are a little more lenient than others but most companies will rate smokers higher than non smokers due to the average increase in mortality risk. There are a couple companies that do not rate up for use of some tobacco products such as a pipe or chew, but I have found that many of these charge higher rates across the board.Answered on May 7, 2013flag this answer
