What Is The Recommended Amount Of Auto Insurance?
- 16470 POINTSview profileDavid OsgoodAgent, Rural Mutual Insurance Co., Union Grove, WIThe least amount of auto insurance coverage that would be recommended by any agent/carrier would be your states minimum insurance coverages. I personally would never recommend the state auto insurance minimums to any prospective client that I speak to. My personal minimum recommendation is 100/300/100, but you should have the highest coverage that you can afford or that works best for you.Answered on October 28, 2013flag this answer

McNeil Insurance Services, Fresno, CaliforniaYou should purchase all the coverage that your company will provide. We read frequently of settlements from auto collisions that exceed the limits of the policies that the drivers of the cars had. Once the company has exhausted their limit, the other party will be coming after you. The higher limits rarely increase cost substantially and the results at a time of claim can be very helpful.Answered on September 10, 2014flag this answer
