Does Auto Insurance Affect Your Credit Score?

    Auto insurance carriers to the best of my knowledge do not currently report any information to the credit agencies. If you do not pay your premiums that are owed to complete your contract with your carrier it is possible that the carrier will turn your account over to a collections agency, which may affect your credit score.
