    A renter’s policy, like every other form of insurance is an expense until you have to file a claim. When you have a claim it is frequently the best investment you could have made. If everything you own is destroyed in a fire, your landlord will not replace your personal property. If someone falls down in your unit, the lawsuit could bankrupt you. The renter’s policy will protect you.
