    A renter’s policy is a package that usually contains personal property coverage and liability coverage.  The most important thing to look for is the agent.  Make sure the agent is someone that you trust.  Make sure the agent provides all the information that you provide to the insurance company and that the policy is exactly what you ordered.  Another important thing is limits.  If the limits aren’t high enough to cover the potential loss, you might be very dissatisfied at the time of a claim.  Don’t skimp.  Make sure you get enough coverage, particularly for liability.
