There are questions to ask an agent, and questions to ask yourself.  Ask an agent if he or she will be there to help you when you need help.  Ask an agent if their company has a good reputation.  Ask an agent if there is sufficient office staff to provide continuous service for the foreseeable future.

Ask yourself how much of a loss you can sustain if you are sued for an incident that happens on the property that you rent.  Ask yourself if you can allow all of your property to go up in smoke and not suffer any financial impact.
