What Should I Pay For Renters Insurance?
- 37376 POINTSview profileDavid G. Pipes, CLU®, RICP®Business Development Officer, T.D. McNeil Insurance Services, Fresno, CaliforniaI just wrote a renter’s policy and the annual premium was $92/ year. While that is on the low side, it does illustrate that the cost of a renter’s policy is not significant. However the cost of not having a renter’s policy can be significant. A lawsuit can bankrupts you. A fire can destroy everything that you own. If you are forced to move out you might find that alternative housing is significantly more expensive.Answered on May 7, 2014flag this answer
