What Should I Be Paying For Renters Insurance?
- 16470 POINTSview profileDavid OsgoodAgent, Rural Mutual Insurance Co., Union Grove, WIThe amount that you pay for renters insurance could vary greatly based on the many factors that are used to determine your premium for this coverage. Based on my experience within my geographic location for ten thousand dollars worth of coverage you will pay approximately seven to ten dollars per month. If you have your auto and renters insurance with the same carrier you may also be eligible for discounts on your policy premiums.Answered on August 30, 2013flag this answer

In fact when companies offer discounts on auto if you have homeowner’s insurance, check to see if they extend that same discount to renters. The discount frequently exceeds the premium for the renter’s policy. You should pay for enough coverage that you will be able to move into another apartment with all the furniture, clothes and appliances you had in the one that was destroyed.Answered on November 7, 2014flag this answer
