What Is The Average Renters Insurance Per Month?
- 37376 POINTSview profileDavid G. Pipes, CLU®, RICP®Business Development Officer, T.D. McNeil Insurance Services, Fresno, CaliforniaThe rate for a renter’s policy is dependent upon the location of the unit, the year of construction, the fire protection available, and the loss history of the unit and the occupants. As you can see these are unique for your unit. If you know of another unit nearby that is about the same, the premium that they pay for a renter’s policy should give you an indication of what you could anticipate paying.Answered on April 24, 2014flag this answer

That estimate is based upon personal property value between $25,0000 - $30,000. When the client has more personal property to protect, it can increase to reflect the higher value. The renter's policy is a great value especially when combined with an auto policy.Answered on September 20, 2016flag this answer
