Here in CT, I find the average to be between $200.00 and $300.00 annually. There are three primary elements of coverage that drive the premium. First, the amount of personal property coverage you choose, it should reflect the value of your personal belongings. The second is the deductible you choose - the higher the deductible, the lower the premium. Finally, the amount of liability coverage you choose. Which can include furnature, cloth, televisons, computer and other personal items that a person needs every day.
