How Much Is Renters Liability Insurance?
- 37376 POINTSview profileDavid G. Pipes, CLU®, RICP®Business Development Officer, T.D. McNeil Insurance Services, Fresno, CaliforniaIf you are referring to a commercial risk, such as a store or garage, then your commercial agent is the person to ask. If you are referring to a rental unit in which you live, then the answer is that liability insurance is a part of a tenant’s (renter’s) policy. The policy also contains property coverage for your personal property and that coverage is the main determinant of the premium. In my area these policies are available for $10-15 per month. Of course each policy is individually written and the price can vary a great deal.Answered on March 21, 2014flag this answer
