Does Renters Insurance Cover Swimming Pools?
- 992 POINTSview profilePhil TuccyOwner, Insurance Group Consulting, LLC, FloridaHave to assume that you are talking about liability here. A good renters policy will provide coverage for the policyholder for liability that is attributed to and ultimately proven to be his or hers. Usually the property owner/landlord is the first person who is liable but there easily can be circumstances where the renter can be held liable for accidents involving both in-ground and above-ground pools , either primarily or secondarily. So, it is easy to see why it it is extremely important that renters obtain policies that will cover them for potential liability of this nature and otherwise.Answered on April 28, 2014flag this answer
