Does Renters Insurance Cover Scooters?

This is a pretty standard exclusion. Talk to your insurance professional about your options, though. We can easily provide coverage for scooters under a separate contract that is specifically designed to meet those needs at an extremely reasonable price.Answered on December 16, 2013flag this answer

Typically any vehicle intended and licensed for road use is excluded on a renters or homeowners policy. The is some gray area around vehicles including scooters designed for off road use. Talk to your agent about the type of scooter you have and what you expect to use it for.Answered on December 17, 2013flag this answer
