Does Renters Insurance Cover Pools?
- 7647 POINTSview profileMark Bartlett CLCSBranch Owner, TWFG Insurance Services, Fremont California and the Greater Bay Area Representing Dozens of Insurance CarriersSince you are a renter and do not own the property I assume by pool you mean liability in the even someone gets hurt or drowns. In this case the liability portion of your renters policy will cover you (assuming you were found negligent) up to the policy limits should a guest be hurt in the pool of the home or place you are renting. Even if you are not negligent the policy will still defend.Answered on September 3, 2013flag this answer
