Does Renters Insurance Cover Clothes?
- 7647 POINTSview profileMark Bartlett CLCSBranch Owner, TWFG Insurance Services, Fremont California and the Greater Bay Area Representing Dozens of Insurance CarriersYour clothing is considered your personal property so if you purchased a renters insurance policy that has property coverage your clothing would be covered if the loss was a covered loss. An example of a covered loss would be fire and theft as an example. Also you would want to make sure your renters policy was reimbursement and not actual cash value so that your clothing or any other items for that matter are replaced new.Answered on March 30, 2014flag this answer
