Can I Require Renters Insurance?
- 37376 POINTSview profileDavid G. Pipes, CLU®, RICP®Business Development Officer, T.D. McNeil Insurance Services, Fresno, CaliforniaSince a rental agreement is a legal contract, either party can make whatever requirement they deem important. Your own insurance company should have alerted you concerning this matter. The renter is responsible for property damage and personal injury claims on the rented property.Answered on August 5, 2014flag this answer
