For the  most part, Medicare only covers prescriptions when one is hospitalized, under Part A. Some types of medications, such a certain cancer treatments, can also be covered under Medicare Part B, though most drugs one takes outside of a hospital are only covered if you have added Medicare Part D prescription coverage through a private insurance company. In such a case, this medication could be covered, as long as it appears on your company's formulary list of covered medications, as the drug is considered to be medically necessary.
