Most insurance companies have a handful of states they do business in for their Medigap plans and only sell several of the available plans (e.g. company XYZ only sells Medigap plans A, F, G, and N).
Since Medigap plans are standardized (meaning the coverage is the same, regardless of the company it's through - the only difference being the price of the coverage), it's important to find out all of the carriers that offer plans in your zip code.
