   Medicare will pay for a scooter if your doctor has deemed it medically necessary - you must have a medical condition that limits your mobility in your home and have difficulty completing daily living activities.Medicare will generally cover about 80% of the cost - you would be responsible for the other 20% as well as your Part B deductible.
