If you are already enrolled in Medicare normally you only can switch your drug plan during the Annual Enrollment Period which is between October 15 and December 7 of each year. There are some other exceptions but to not complicate the answer to your question most people already on Medicare cannot switch their drug plan until the Annual Enrollment Period.Answered on April 25, 2016flag this answer
