   Treatment in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) may be covered by Medicare under certain conditions.
   
   You must have been admitted to the SNF following a qualified stay in a hospital (usually 3 days or more) and discharged to the SNF. Your doctor must certify that you need nursing care for a condition related to your hospitalization.
