Is Pregnancy Covered By Medicare?
- 12689 POINTSview profileTed RatliffOwner, SFS Associates,I have never seen any exclusion for pregnancy. Most people on Medicare are beyond child bearing years. If a person who is younger and receiving Medicare because of disability gets pregnant the pregnancy would most likely be covered the same as any illness. Under the new PPACA law pregnancy is required to be covered for all female applicants of health insurance.Answered on June 11, 2013flag this answer
