Azilect is a medication that is covered under Medicare Part D (Prescription Drug Plan).  You have to be enrolled in Original Medicare to get a Part D plan.  You can also enroll in a  Medicare Advantage Plan (like an HMO or PPO) that includes Part D prescription drug coverage.

Any drugs that are covered under Part B (Medical insurance) are ones that get administered in a doctor's office (injections), certain oral anti-cancer drugs, drugs used with some types of durable medical equipment (nebulizer or external infusion pump).  Sometimes drugs are covered under very limited circumstances (certain drugs in a hospital outpatient setting).  Since it falls under Part B, you pay the 20% of Medicare approved amount, and the Part B deductible applies.

If you feel like you need help paying for your Medicare prescription drug costs, you can contact Social Security (1-800-772-1213) to apply for Extra Help.  According to CMS, Extra Help is a "Medicare program to help people with limited income and resources pay medicare prescription drug plan costs, like premiums, deductibles, and coinsurance."
