Disabled individuals may qualify for Medicare subject to certain conditions. You must meet the Social Security definition of disability and, in most cases, have received SSDI checks for 2 years.  Specific medical conditions, such as ESRD (end stage renal disease) may qualify you for immediate Medicare benefits. Medicare Advantage plans will not offer coverage if you have ESRD.
