    The premium for Medicare Part B is $104.90/month in 2013 for most people. The Part B deductible is $147/year. If your modified adjusted gross income is above a certain point, the rate can be higher. 

    Part A is free to persons who have paid Medicare taxes. For those who must pay for Part A, the premium is $441/month with a $1,184 deductible. The Part A premium is actually a little less than it was in 2012.
