   Original Medicare includes coverage as an inpatient in a SNF (skilled nursing facility). If you qualify for coverage, Medicare will cover the full cost of care for up to 20 days.
   
   For days 21 through 100, Medicare will pay a portion of the cost and you will be responsible for a daily copay. ($148 in 2013)
