Medigap plans do not provide coverage for routine eye exams and eye glasses. In short, you will need to secure coverage under a separate vision insurance plan to to cover routine services.

Medicare Part B can provide coverage for some preventive and diagnostic eye exams for people at high-risk of certain conditions (e.g. diagnosing retinopathy in diabetics or mascular degeneration for age-related conditions). In combination with a Medigap plan, these exams can be covered at 100% (Medicare Part B - 80%, Medigap - the remaining 20%). You can check out the medicare.gov website for more specific information regarding condition/risk requirements for Medicare to pay benefits.

I hope the information is helpful - please feel free to contact me for help with your Medigap plan needs, including quotes and plan comparisons, and if you have any other questions. Thanks very much.
