Does Medicare Plan B Cover Prescriptions?
- 1350 POINTSview profileKatherine McDanielsOwner/Insurance Broker, KM Health Insurance Services, Hazel Crest, IllinoisGood question. Medicare normally covers drugs under part B in very limited situations. Such as injections administered in a doctors office, certain oral cancer medications, drugs used with durable medical equipment such as nebulizers/external infusion pumps. You will still be responsible for 20% of the bill. Look into a Medicare supplement to Part C/D plan and compare your options.Answered on May 11, 2013flag this answer
