   Yes - Medicare covers walkers under Part B as durable medical equipment (DME) when prescribed by your doctor for use in your home. Medicare will generally pay approximately 80% of the costs - you would be responsible for the other 20%.
   
   A Medicare supplement (Medigap) plan can help cover the expenses you're responsible for paying.
