    Medicare can pay for nursing care at home under certain conditions. 

    1) The patient must require only intermittent (part time) skilled care. If you need 24 hours skilled nursing care, Medicare will not cover those services provided in your home.

    2) You must be ordered to receive speech therapy, physical therapy, or occupational therapy.

    3) You must be certified as homebound.

    4) All the services must be documented as needed and provided by Medicare providers.
