    No. Routine checkups and other common dental services would not be covered by Medicare.

    Medicare may cover some procedures under certain conditions (e.g. you had to go to the emergency room and it was medically necessary to repair something in your mouth immediately) - you can check with Medicare if you're not sure if a given procedure would be covered.

    You would need to add a separate dental insurance plan to provide coverage for routine services.
