Medicare will cover 80% of your ambulance ride if it is a medical emergency and every second counts getting you to a hospital for treatment. There are some non-emergency reasons that Medicare will cover an ambulance ride. If Medicare disagrees with your decision to use an ambulance you will be responsible for 100% of the charges.
